Week 29

Point of View

For the past week and a half the class has been working on understaniding the difference between 1st and 3rd person. We've been discussing how to use these different point of views in different types of writing and also how using different point of views can send different messages to the reader. The kids have been working to reading and write in these different point of views. Our intern Mrs. Kerry had the kids engage in a lot of fun activities to practice with this. 

Gardening

Our class garden has officially been planted and is being very well taken care of! We have planted many vegetables and hope to be able to try some new veggies before school lets our for the summer. In our garden you will find cucumbers, broccoli, snap peas, strawberries, corn, and many more plants. 

Expert Project 

With each passing month the kids' expert projects get better and better! I'm so proud of the worst hat they have put into these projects and I appreciated all the new information they have presented the class and myself with!
